The SandCat switches offer a budget-friendly solution for connecting multiple end devices to the network, with the added capability of a fiber port for communication over longer distances or across different sites. While managed switches are commonly utilized to enhance network configuration and security, the SandCat series is perfect for expanding the port count of managed switches and facilitating the connection of additional end devices. These switches are also ideal for creating a physical topology for optimal redundancy, enabling remote access, or functioning as a simple switch within factory automation applications.
Designed for mission-critical applications, the SandCat series features DIN rail mounting suitable for harsh industrial environments, facilitating Ethernet connections between drives, inverters, HMIs, PLCs, and I/O units. Meeting EMC, isolation, vibration, and shock standards, these switches are suitable for installation in challenging industrial environments.
